A world-first drone delivery service has officially launched in Logan City.
A local grocer is trialling the “Delivery by air” concept in Marsden and Crestmead, but hopes to expand the service by the end of the year
It’s the brainchild of an American company called “WING” which operates with approval from Logan City Council and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.
The drones can carry deliveries that weigh up to 1.5kg.
