Firefighters hope showers that have moved through the region today will help them control a large bushfire that is burning near Green Hills, in the Scenic Rim.
The blaze has been burning between Kooralbyn and Allandale since Monday night.
Multiple Rural Fire Service crews are on scene attempting to contain the fire.
Isolated properties between Kooralbyn and Allandale may come under threat of the blaze, however, fire crews and aircraft are working to identify those properties and take appropriate protective action.
