The Queensland Ambulance Service has spoken out for the first time since a 19 year old man lost his life skateboarding behind a relatives car at Tamborine around 11 last night.
Senior Operations Supervisor Jayney Shearman has expressed her organisation’s condolences.
Police were called to Ballantrae Rd, following the reports of the injured skateboarder.
He was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Ms Shearman says confronting fatal accidents like this one is very difficult for paramedics.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
