A 52-year-old Tamborine man is due to appear in court Monday charged with murder following an incident Saturday night in Brisbane’s south.
Preliminary investigations indicate that at around 8pm Saturday night (October 31) a 52-year-old Carrara man went to an address on Belmont Road, Tingalpa.
When he arrived, a verbal confrontation took place between him and another man known to him.
That then led to a physical altercation between the two, resulting in the Carrara man sustaining head injuries.
Police arrived on the scene a short time later and QAS rendered assistance to the man, who was later declared deceased.
A 52-year-old Tamborine Mountain man has been charged with murder and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday (November 2).
Investigations are continuing.
