Teenage boys face Toowoomba’s Children’s Court on multiple charges

Two teenage boys have faced Toowoomba Children’s Court charged with a string of property offences mainly committed in the Oakey area.

It’s alleged over the last 12 nights the boys have broken into schools, cars, businesses and houses often stealing car keys and vehicles.

A 13-year-old Oakey boy has been charged with ten counts of burglary, nine break and enter offences, five counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and one count of willful damage.

A 16-year-old boy from the same town has been charged with eleven counts of burglary, ten break and enter offences, six counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and one count of receiving tainted property.

This follows the arrest of four other teenage boys earlier this week for a total of 44 break and enter and unlawful use charges in the Oakey area.
