TWILIGHT MARKET AND MOVIE NIGHT
SATURDAY 27TH
This Saturday, the Logan Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Twilight Market and Movie Night at Logan Village Green, where Logan City locals can enjoy an array of food and wares, or chill out on the green and watch a family-friendly movie on the big screen.
Vice President of Logan Chamber of Commerce Joel Hall says it will be an event offering fun for the whole family.
“Come down to the Village Green this Saturday for Twilight Markets and Movie Night,” he said. “The event is free and there will be food trucks and a family-friendly movie ‘Bernie the Dolphin’ on the big screen.
“The markets will kick off at 4pm and the movie will start around dusk, then things will wrap up at around 9pm. Remember to bring your picnic blanket!”
Twilight Market and Movie Night will be happening at the Logan Village Green, 11-15 Logan Street, Logan Village from 4pm to 9pm.

EATS & BEATS
FRIDAY 26TH
The first live Eats & Beats event in almost 12 months is kicking off this Friday from 4:30pm! The event will be a belated celebration of Valentine’s Day.
The ‘Love is in the Air’ themed event is at the Logan River Parklands in Beenleigh, and although the first Eats & Beats of 2021 is not on Valentine’s Day, attendees are encouraged to bring their valentine and keep the romance going.
The event will feature live music, and more than 20 food trucks, as well as a special treat to mark the return of the festival – 10 lucky couples have won dinner dates on the nearby historic Red Bridge on the night of the event, the first time that anyone has dined on the iconic structure, which was recently refurbished by Logan City Council.
The romance will be felt in the Parklands too, with attendees encouraged to grab their Valentines and enjoy all their old Eats & Beats favourites.
COVID-Safe guidelines will be in place, with attendees required to scan a QR Code on arrival and register their contact details. Social distancing and hand sanitisation will also be
encouraged.
More information on the event is available on the Eats & Beats Facebook page.
Pandemic restrictions curtailed much of the Eats Beats program last year.
