Logan Basketball has announced the return of Boston Mazlin who has re-signed with the McDonald’s Logan Thunder Men for the 2022 Basketball North Season.
Originally a Townsville Basketball Junior, Boston joined the Logan Thunder senior representative program in 2020 as a member of the McDonald’s Logan Thunder Men’s Queensland State League team.
Boston lead the U21 Logan Thunder Men to back-to-back SQJBC championships (2020, 2021) and featured as one of the NBL1 North’s most talented young stars in the inaugural season.
He also was the recipient of the Logan Thunder NBL1 North program Youth Player of the Year award in 2021.
“My first season with Thunder was great, I learned a lot from the older guys on how to improve my game and take it to the next level,” Boston says about returning for 2022.
“The Thunder family is what made me decided to come back, it’s a great association and it’s great to play in the Thunder environment.”
“Logan basketball is a different type of basketball. We play with passion and leave everything out on the court with a great atmosphere every single game! “
“I think being a more all round player is something I’ve worked on during the offseason, developing an all round scoring mindset and becoming a better defender.”
“I’m looking forward to getting back out on the court with the guys and competing for a championship. And of course playing in front of the best crowd in Australia!“
Boston joins Jeremy Kendle and Michael Cedar who will feature for the McDonald’s Logan Thunder men in 2022.
