Toowoomba Hospital has locked its doors to visitors as they investigate potential COVID-19 exposures linked to the recent Goondiwindi cases.
Darling Downs Health says the action has been taken to ensure the safety of staff, patients and visitors.
In some instances, support people will be accommodated on compassionate grounds, in the emergency department, maternity and paediatric services.
There are no new cases of Covid-19 in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, and no contact tracing alerts have been issued.
