Police investigations are continuing into the tragic loss of life on a Logan road this afternoon.
A young woman and girl died and two more people were seriously injured after their car rolled on Mollenhagen Road at Stockleigh just after midday.
Police say the two people who died at the scene of the crash were a 21-year-old woman who was driving the car, and a 15-year-old girl in a passenger seat.
Two more people – a 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman – were rushed to hospitals in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast
The man was stabilised at the scene by paramedics before being transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital and the woman was in a critical condition when she arrived at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Police believe the four people are locals of the area and all related to each other.
It’s not known how the car lost control and rolled over to the side of the road.
About a dozen emergency service crews responded to the incident.
