The Queensland nurses union said COVID-19 testing clinics would run much smoother if people were patient and worked together.
Queensland Health is advising people to get tested following fragments of coronavirus being detected in wastewater in Loganholme and if they have travelled to New South Wales or Victoria.
Union secretary Beth Mohle said clinic staff are under added pressure.
“There certainly has been a call out for people to get tested and of course that has put additional demand across the whole state,” she said.
