Our earlier story on My News Feed about panic buying at shopping centres has been met with a response from the member for Woodridge.
Cameron Dick is urging everyone not to panic buy.
The Woodridge MP has used twitter to ask everyone to look out for each other.
“Supermarkets will remain open. As well as considering what you need, think about what others need too, especially vulnberable members of our community”.
His comment has echoed that of Health Minister Yvette D’ath who earlier today asked everyone not to panic buy.
The comments comes after the announcement of a snap lockdown for Logan City and the Scenic RIm, as part of a move to protect 11 Local Government Areas across South East Queensland in response to the latest Covid scare.
