Fast forward to now, the Glen Hotel at Eight Mile Plains is back open for business for the Christmas / New Year period after a week of trauma and disruption.
The pub’s “Christmas Lunch” went ahead as planned after a woman, who didn’t know she was infected, dined at the facility in mid December.
She had travelled up from Sydney’s northern beaches, sparking a major health alert.
