A Scenic Rim man has won a “David and Goliath” legal battle over the naming rights to a business he invented at his Beaudesert home.

Nathan Clarke says he received legal notification by an American company to cease using the business name “TRUTH BY NATURE” for his skin care product saying it was too close to their own business “NATURE’S TRUTH”.
He refused to change the name of his business and had the support of the local community.
Finally, after 8 months – and thousands of dollars in legal fees – the American company finally gave up.
“It’s nothing like the same sort of product,” he told Channel Nine.
Truth by Nature has been trading online and at the Rathdowney Markets.
