Queenslanders may not be celebrating the Queens Birthday public holiday until October but many have been recognised as part of the traditional Queen’s Birthday Honours List announced this-morning…
It’s a long list – but some of those locally being recognised include –
Heather Christensen from Beenleigh for service to the Beenleigh community.
Two Logan police officers have been recognised for their service to youth –
Detective Senior Sergeant Grant Ralston and Sergeant Megan Ward.
In the Scenic Rim, Tim Keeler from Boonah was recognised for service to the community through a range of roles…
And a special Meritorious award has gone to Deborough Macbeth from Tamborine Mountain for outstanding public service to community health.
