A man aged in his 60s had to be airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Tuesday night following a battery explosion in the Scenic Rim.
The man suffered facial burns after a car battery reportedly exploded at a private address at Mount French, near Boonah, just before 10 o’clock Tuesday night.
The man is said to be in a serious, but stable condition.
