Coles stores across Logan City have been affected by a technical outage forcing the retailer to shut its doors.
According to a media spokesperson, It’s some sort of national outage affecting its “Technologies”… but would not elaborate, except to say it would be detailed in a media release to be distributed later tonight.
The Coles spokesperson did not have any advice for customers.
*** UPDATE: 4.45pm: – Statement from Coles:
“Coles supermarkets are being closed temporarily due to a technical issue with processing payments in our stores.
Our team is working hard to fix the issue and stores will reopen as soon as possible.
We apologise to our customers for the inconvenience.
Coles Express and Coles Liquor stores remain open for trade.”
