Cafe 63 holds 37 locations across Queensland through its Franchise model. With the newest addition being right here in Beenleigh at the Beenleigh Marketplace. The restaurant takes up a decent area with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. It has also the usual decor of a Cafe 63 from the black and white table cloths to the astroturf interior. All in all its a bright and open space that feels welcoming.
The one thing you will notice at any Cafe 63 is the incredible size of the menu! There would be 50 breakfast options alone on this thing, all with quirky names. I went for the “Mountie” a take on the traditional Canadian breakfast of Pancakes and Bacon, with the addition of scrambled eggs for the Cafe 63 option. The food came out incredibly fast which briefly made me think these were pre-made pancakes but after a quick peek into the kitchen my concerns were put to rest. Everything was good. Not overwhelmingly amazing but good.
The coffee was a little disappointing. To give you guys a little peek behind the curtain, I always order a vanilla latte (aside from that time I went crazy and got an iced coffee) I have a feeling that Cafe 63 forgot the “vanilla” part this morning. However, it was still drinkable.
The service was very good. Everyone was friendly and smiling. As I said food came out quickly, so did my coffee. The franchise holder was working the register and was lovely. All the staff seemed to genuinely care about the experience their customers are having.
Cafe 63 is a welcome addition to the Beenleigh/Logan cafe environment.
