Logan City man charged over restaurant shooting

A Logan City man is one of two men who have been charged following investigations into shots fired at a Toowong restaurant during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Around 2am, police were called to the Sherwood Road business after several projectiles were fired through the glass façade of the unoccupied restaurant.

A 25-year-old Eagleby man has been charged with dangerous conduct with a weapon and wilful damage. He is due to appear Tuesday in Brisbane Magistrates Court.

A 41-year-old Upper Mount Gravatt man has been charged with dangerous conduct with a weapon; wilful damage; and authority required to possess explosives (possessing ammunition). He is also due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court Tuesday.

Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or who has vision to contact police.
