Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has confirmed the state’s southeast, including Logan City, will not be put into a snap lockdown but she says the next 24 hours will be critical to determine the future.

The state recorded five new cases overnight – all from the same family across two households.
Testing has confirmed those people are infected with the COVID-19 Delta variant.
Chief Health Officer, Doctor Jeanette Young says the family did have a visitor from New South Wales but he hasn’t been tested yet.
