Barnaby Joyce sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister

  • Rod Stephen is a former television journalist and has worked as Foreign Editor for the Seven Network, Australian Bureau Chief for TV3 New Zealand, UK correspondent for Seven and ABC radio and as a producer for Reuters TV in London as well as SBS in Sydney and Melbourne before returning to Brisbane to work at 4BC.

The Prime Minister has said he’s looking forward to working with his new deputy, Barnaby Joyce.

Mr Joyce has been sworn in after regaining the leadership of the National Party.

The Federal MP for New England has also become the new Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development Minister.

Appearing at the swearing in via a video link, Scott Morrison welcomed My Joyce back to the front bench.
