A Beenleigh police officer has been identified as testing positive for COVID-19.
Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll revealed the case at a news conference yesterday.
It’s forced at least 20 police officers from the Beenleigh Station to go into isolation as they undergo testing for the virus.
Officers from the Coomera district are now covering shifts at Beenleigh.
