A primary school aged boy has been airlifted to hospital by the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter, after he was crushed by a trailer on a farm, in the Southern Downs.
The rescue chopper was called into action shortly before 11:45am today.
The pilot was able to land the chopper near a farm house on the property.
The Queensland Ambulance Service was first on the scene, before the rescue chopper arrived.
The aeromedical crew and paramedics treated the boy for multiple injuries, including to his head and back.

He was airlifted to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in a stable condition, accompanied by his mother.
