The Eagleby Mud Army is mobilising for the flood clean-up, with the Eagleby Giants Clubhouse set to become the hub for the operation.
The Giants have teamed up with Wesley Mission Queensland, Logan City Councillor Karen Murphy, Nightlight, Rotary Club of Beenleigh and Beenleigh Baptist Church to coordinate a local mud army to assist residents in need.
The Eagleby Mud Army will meet at the Eagleby Giants Clubhouse, 1 Bishop Street Eagleby at 7am on Thursday.
Those interested in helping out are encouraged to bring closed in shoes, hat, cleaning equipment and a good attitude.
Organisers will be providing food and drinks.
It has been requested that children are not involved in the clean-up effort.
