Logan City and the Scenic Rim appear to be on track to get out of lockdown as scheduled – at 6:00 tomorrow night.

The 3 day lockdown was in reaction to a potential outbreak of the Covid 19 Delta strain.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says there are encouraging signs that suggest the lockdown has worked.

There were four new confirmed Covid 19 results today.

One of the new cases is a woman who works at the Qatar Airways check-in counter at Brisbane International Airport.

The other is a person connected to the Brisbane Portuguese outbreak who’s been in hotel quarantine.

The state’s other two cases are people in hotel quarantine who acquired the infection overseas.

In total,  There are 43 active COVID cases in Queensland and 29,990 tests were performed on Wednesday.

Small business operators across Logan City and the Scenic Rim have been hurting financially due to the lockdown.
