Chemists across Logan City and the Scenic Rim will help local communities in the fight against Covid 19.
The Covid vaccine roll-out is on track to begin in Australia next month – as the Federal Government signs up thousands of pharmacies to administer the jab for free .
The government will pay chemists , under a 200-million-dollar initiative.
The program is scheduled to start in May, when phase two of the roll out begins.
In the meantime , Health minister Greg Hunt says the delivery of the vaccine and roll-out is on schedule.
He has singled out the use of chemists, saying they are experienced and it allows greater availability for locals to obtain the vaccine.
