Logan City parents are being reminded to check in on their kids’ emotional well-being before the school year starts this week.

There are reports of a rise in anxiety in children since the start of the pandemic.

Triple P – Positive Parenting Program founder Matt Sanders said it has been a tough time for a lot of families.

“These kids are moving from being at home and on holidays and then back into schooling and regular learning, and hopefully with as little disruption as possible,” he said.

The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is used around the world and was developed here in Queensland.

It helps parents to raise children and teenagers who will grow up to be happier and healthier.
