It looks like we have seen the back of the more pleasant, cooler weather conditions, at least for the next three or four days.
Logan City is expecting tops of 30 or 31 every day through Wednesday, while Beaudesert can expect maximum temperatures as high as 33 degrees on Monday and 32 Tuesday.
It will stay mostly sunny across the district with little chance of rain until Wednesday, when there could be a shower or two.
The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a 70% to 80% chance of showers from Thursday through Saturday, so the best advice, as always, is to stay hydrated when temperatures rise.
Looking further ahead, the bureau is forecasting wetter than average conditions from January through March for southeast Queensland.
The chance of exceeding median rainfall is greater than 70% for much of Queensland, increasing to 80% and above in eastern parts of the state.
