Remnants of big wet track through Logan City

Motorists driving around Logan City Wednesday morning have had to contend with more of the challenging road conditions brought about by the continuing wet weather.

More heavy rain and showers have persisted across parts of the city.

The M1 in particular was a bit tricky through places like Logan Central and Loganholme early Wednesday as the remnants of the wet weather of late continued to move through the region as they tracked south-westwards towards northern New South Wales.

Meantime, the Bureau of Meteorology has issued a final flood warning for the Logan-Albert River basin.
