Logan City is home to over ten library’s stocked with plenty of books for locals to check out free of charge, however not everyone is able to get themselves to a library. Luckily Logan City Council has a solution.
Logan City Mayor Darren Power has taken to social media to share the exciting library home delivery service.
“Are you unable to get to our libraries, or know someone who can’t?” Mayor Power said.
“Our Friendly Logan library staff can arrange for home delivery of library materials to residents who are unable to get to our libraries.
“All items are hand-picked to match your personal preference. The deliveries are scheduled, with a date and time set to suit the borrower.
“Logan Libraries also provides a free digital home library service where the library will loan an iPad preloaded with books and magazines. Assistance for people new to iPads is provided for free.
“Our libraries have a large collection of library catalogue of items for loan.”
