Logan City is reportedly one of the main Queensland regions with the dubious honour of leading the state’s bankruptcy rates.
Moreton Bay South, Ipswich and the Gold Coast were also locked-in with Logan City as having the highest rates of personal insolvency.
Financial expert Olivia Maragna from Aspire Retire says the figures are actually worse than we are being told.
“Once we see Jobkeeper come off we’re likely to see an increase in these figures. Normally we should be sitting at about eight-thousand a year, in terms of insolvencies. At the moment we’re sitting at four-thousand-four-hundred for the calendar year to 2020”.
