Logan district police are reminding motorists of the dangers of drink driving, especially during the festive season.
Police have responded to a spate of serious traffic crashes across the city in the lead up to Christmas.
In a three-day period, police responded to traffic crashes in Logan Central, Kingston and Slacks Creek in which initial investigations revealed alcohol was a contributing factor.
As a consequence, two men, 52 and 39, were charged with driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) and are due to appear in the Beenleigh magistrates court in January.
Police no one was seriously injured in any of the accidents, although that was more a matter of luck than anything else.
