Logan women in border fraud case face new charges

Two Logan City women who allegedly lied about their trip to Melbourne during Victoria’s wide ranging COVID-19 outbreak last July are now under the microscope in New South Wales.

A 21-year old and a 20-year old were charged with fraud and providing false documents, along with a friend, after their trip to Melbourne.

It has now been revealed that the two women have been charged with similar offences in relation to their trip through Sydney Airport on their way home.

They are scheduled to appear in court in Sydney in March and June respectively.
