A teenager was trapped in a car that hit a tree Tuesday night at Tamborine and first responders had to use the jaws of life to get him out.
He was then airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane with a significant leg injury.
The accident happened at 7:45pm on Tamborine Mountain Road.
The teen is in a stable condition.
And in a separate accident, a man is in hospital after a vehicle he was working on rolled over him earlier on Tuesday night at Tamborine Mountain.
He is in a serious condition with head, leg and shoulder injuries.
That incident happened at a private address just before 7pm.
The High Acuity Response Unit was called to the scene and escorted the man to Gold Coast University Hospital.
