The torrential rain has put a dampener on efforts to start Eagleby’s Mud Army operation.
The Mud Army met at the Eagleby Giants Clubhouse this morning to help the clean up effort in Eagleby, but the wet weather has stopped them from helping people to recover from flooding.
Division 12 Councilor Karen Murphy is hoping the rain will stop soon.
The Eagleby Mud Army will meet again tomorrow morning at the Eagleby Giants Clubhouse on One Bishop Street.
Those interested in helping out are encouraged to bring closed in shoes, hat and cleaning equipment.
