There are major traffic delays southbound on the M1 from Logan onwards after a major multi vehicle crash involving four cars and a truck at Coomera just after 5.30 this morning.
Paramedics have now transported seven patients involved in the pile-up to Gold Coast University Hospital.
They include a man in a serious condition with minor head and abdominal injuries , a woman in her 50’s who had to be cut out of her car but is in a stable condition, another patient in a serious condition with lower limb injuries and four other patients in stable conditions.
Gold Coast Senior Operations Paramedic, David Martin says motorists should delay a trip to the Gold Coast until the wreckage is cleared.
