More than 900 Logan drivers caught running red lights

New data has revealed that drivers in Waterford West racked up more than 900 red light camera fines at an intersection last year, making it one of the worst in the state for red light offences.

The RACQ says the police data shows the intersection of Kingston and Muchow roads in the Logan suburb was home to the state’s seventh worst intersection for red light camera fines.

The club’s spokesperson, Tristan Vorias says running a red light puts more than just the driver at risk of losing their life.

Several fixed red light cameras are scattered throughout Logan, including at Slacks Creek, Browns Plains, Crestmead, Woodridge and Underwood.
