A motorbike rider was taken to hospital with critical injuries, after he was thrown from his motorbike at Shailer Park this morning.
Emergency Services responded to a crash between a vehicle and motorbike at the intersection of Bryants Road and Cornubia Park Road, near St Matthews Catholic Primary School, at 8.48am.
The motorbike rider, a man in his late twenties, was reportedly thrown from the bike.
Critical Care Paramedics were joined by an off-duty paramedic in treating the motorbike rider.
He was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with critical head injuries.
The three occupants of the vehicle, two teenaged girls and a man in his fifties, were transported to Logan Hospital in stable conditions.
The road was closed, with traffic diversions in place following the crash.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
The incident was one of many crashes at Logan on Wednesday morning, with a multi-vehicle crash on the M1, just past the Underwood Rd overpass, causing extensive delays in and around the area.
