Queensland Health has issued a public health alert after a person who tested positive to COVID-19 travelled through Goondiwindi and stopped at a petrol station in the town.

Anyone who visited the BP at Goondiwindi last Wednesday between 11.30am and 12.30pm is now a casual contact.
That means you must immediately travel by private transport directly to your home or accommodation and quarantine,get tested at your earliest opportunity, continue to quarantine until you receive a negative result.

The Goondiwindi region is one of the most vaccinated in the state, with more than 77 per cent of the population over 15 fully vaccinated as of last Monday.
