Police Investigators have launched a fresh public appeal to mark 10 years since the murder of John Anthony Lazzaro at his Rochedale South home.
Mr Lazzaro was shot dead at his Priestdale Road home in the late hours of April 11, 2012.
His 19-year-old daughter who was home at the time wasn’t harmed but his dog was shot and had to undergo life saving surgery.
Detective Acting Superintendent Mark White says a 500 thousand dollar reward remains on offer for any information leading to the arrest or apprehension of someone for Mr Lazzaro’s murder.
Investigators have also released CCTV pictures of a vehicle of interest in the shooting of Mr Lazarro.
The night time vision of a tray-back utility was captured at a nearby fruit shop a short time before the murder.
Detectives believe the ute is linked to the case.
