The Forensic Crash Unit has launched an investigation into a serious accident at Loganholme yesterday morning, which has left a motorcyclist fighting for life.
Initial investigations suggest that just before 9am, a 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling eastbound along Bryants Road when it collided with a 2003 Nissan Pulsar sedan which was turning at the intersection of Torres Street.
The rider of the bike, a 28-year-old man from Tingalpa, suffered significant injuries and was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the Nissan, a 17-year-old girl, and her 59-year-old male passenger and 15-year old female passenger all managed to escape with minor injuries and were transported to Logan Hospital for treatment.
