Praise for Logan City parenting program

  • Rod Stephen is a former television journalist and has worked as Foreign Editor for the Seven Network, Australian Bureau Chief for TV3 New Zealand, UK correspondent for Seven and ABC radio and as a producer for Reuters TV in London as well as SBS in Sydney and Melbourne before returning to Brisbane to work at 4BC.

After 18 years,  “Butterfly Wings” continues to be a strong proven method of teaching parents on ways to use song, rhyme and movement to improve a child’s development.

Just ask Gillian Marshall from the Logan East Community Centre who has witnessed how the program helps build that bond between parents/care givers and the little ones.

“The program builds trust and the feedback response from parents has been incredible.

“We still have wiggle room for additional placements” she said.

The Licensed Butterfly Wings Child Parent program is a free, community, group learning experience for parents/carers, infants and children (birth-5 years) at the Springwood Community Centre every Friday during school term 9am to 11am.
Contact 38084529 or email admin@lecna.org.au to register.
Eventhough it’s a free program,  bookings are essential.
