The Principal of L.J. Hooker Real Estate at Yarrabilba believes tenants have nothing to fear from changes to the fourteen year old Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act.
Christie Smith says the same rules for tenants that applied in the past still apply today.
Ms Smith says there will be no changes to the way renters and landlords interact with the RTA.
However, she says the owners of rental properties are far better served by putting them in the hands of a property manager at a real estate business rather than trying to manage tenants themselves.
