Rumour mill in overdrive about Logan rugby league great Smith

Logan’s rugby league great Cameron Smith may yet find his way back close to home as he’s now being linked to the Gold Coast Titans NRL club as he continues to weigh up his playing future.

Smith recently bought a property in the Gold Coast hinterland, which has added weight to speculation that he may relocate to the region.

The former Queensland and Australian captain has not yet made it known what his plans are for the 2021 season, although it is widely believed that he will either retire or play in Queensland.

Titans skipper Kevin Procter says whether the rumour of Smith coming home is true or not, it shows just how far the club has progressed in recent years.

Gold Coast finished ninth this past season under new head coach Justin Holbrook and expectations are high for an improved season in 2021.
