Teen hit by car in Logan City

Logan police are investigating the circumstances in which a teenage boy was hit by a car early Friday morning.

The 14-year old was knocked down by the car at the Zone Underwood retail centre on Compton Road, Underwood, at around 4am.

He suffered serious pelvic injuries and was taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in South Brisbane where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.

Police are also looking into the possibility that a homeowner, whose place had been broken into earlier, could have chased the teen in an SUV believing that he may have been connected with the break-in.
