A 17-year-old boy is in a critical condition following a single vehicle traffic crash in Crestmead early Thursday morning.
Preliminary investigations indicate that at around 4:00am, a Toyota Celica coupe travelling east on Browns Plains Road lost control and crashed into a pole.
The boy, who was a passenger in the car, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane with critical head injuries.
The 19-year-old male driver was also taken to the PA Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or any motorists with dashcam travelling on Browns Plains Road to contact police.
