Easter celebrations are kicking off this weekend, as the Flagstone Community Association and Major sponsors Peet Flagstone and Logan City Council host the annual Flagstone Eggstravaganza, featuring the Easter Door Maze.
From 9am this Saturday, kids will have a chance to explore the Easter Door Maze and collect Easter eggs along the way. There will also be a jumping castle, jumbo slide, and jumbo outdoor games including connect four, ring toss, tug of war, sack races, egg and spoon race, and corn bag toss!
The event will also be hosting a range of other family-friendly activities such as craft zone with prizes, a laughing clown game, tag draw, live music, raffles and a huge range of food vendors, from food trucks, sausage sizzle, and a coffee truck, to fairy floss and snow cones.
It’s only $15 for entry, which will get you entrance into the Easter Maze, craft tent, laughing clown and a free snow cone or fairy floss. Paid entries will also have free access to the jumping castle, jumbo slide and jumbo outdoor games. (Please note: 1 entry per child, accompanying adults do not require a ticket.)

Greenbank RSL Rockaoke, Friday 19th March

The time has come! Tonight, The Rockaoke Competition at the Greenbank RSL will be hosting the Semi-Finals of Rockaoke, as competitors gear up for another night of head to head singing!
But this karaoke competition is quite different from others. Contestants will choose their songs and will then perform with a real life rock band!
$8,000 is up for grabs for those entered into the Greenbank RSL’s Rockaoke Competition. Tonight Semi-Finals contestants will battle it out from 8:30pm sharp, and those left standing will head into the big Grand Final on Friday 26th March.
The prizes up for grabs in tonight’s semi-final will be: 8 x Winning Contestants to win a place in the Grand Final plus $100 cash each! The Grand Final will have: 1st place $3,000 cash, 2nd Place $1,500 cash, and 3rd Place $500 cash. Then 4th-8th Place $100 cash.

Margaret Fulton Musical, Sunday 21st March
Logan City locals will be treated to a feel-good experience this Sunday, 21st March, as actors take to the stage to present a playful musical comedy based on the life of Margaret Fulton.

Margaret Fulton: The Musical is a musical biography, based around the life of the true Aussie legend and her bestselling autobiography Sang for My Supper: Memories of a Food Writer. The musical follows her journey from humble beginnings to super-stardom, and revolves around Fulton’s supreme reign on Australia’s cooking scene, encouraging Australian people to experiment with more interesting ingredients.
Attendees can enjoy a two-course lunch before the show, with classic Margaret Fulton dishes on offer. Book a cabaret seat, or table, for a two-course lunch with delicious recipes that made Fulton a household name, then be entertained by this family-friendly, heart-warming musical.
Show times are from 2pm sharp, and ticket prices start at $41 for adults for the Show Only. Concession tickets are $34, groups of 8 people or more pay $32pp, and LEC Members tickets are $32. Tickets and lunch prices are $75 for adults.
