Voting is still open to crown Queensland’s favourite tourism town and there are three Scenic Rim towns in the running.
Those finalists are Boonah, Canungra and Tamborine Mountain.
Queensland Tourism Industry Council, CEO, Daniel Gschwind has said they’re strong contenders.
“They’re great places to visit and great places to have an experience. So, I’m sure their chances are very, very good. We’ve had over 20 thousand votes so far, I understand. I don’t know how they’re playing out. We’re not influencing that at all we’re just monitoring how many votes are coming in”.
Voting closes at 11.59pm on Monday. The winning town will go on to represent Queensland at the National Awards and be in the running to be named Australia’s Top Tourism Town.
