Nine people – four adults and five young children – have been assessed at the scene of a three-vehicle crash on Beaudesert Nerang Road, Benobble
The traffic smash happened around 8.45am on Tuesday morning, with one vehicle ending up on its roof.
Senior Operations Supervisor Cary Strong says only six of the injured needed to be taken to Gold Coast hospitals in stable conditions.
“It’s very, very lucky that all safety features of the vehicles have deployed and all children were in the appropriate seating which has saved a lot of major injuries,” he says.
