It was a horrible morning for motorists heading to Brisbane on the Pacific Motorway from Logan after a crash involving 11 vehicles near the Juliette Street off ramp at Greenslopes just after 6 o’clock.
Thirteen people were assessed by paramedics after the pile-up – six of them were taken to hospital in stable conditions with non life threatening injuries.
One man had to be cut from the wreckage of his car after he sustained a knee injury.
To add to the traffic chaos there were a few other minor crashes on the M1 and its off ramps.
Traffic is now flowing on all northbound lanes of the motorway.
