Tomorrow (Friday January 29) Logan City Council will hold its first ordinary meeting of the year, with koalas high on the agenda.
Every month Logan City Council meets for it’s four committee meetings, and then again for its monthly ordinary meeting.
Notable topics, from the previous committee meetings, to be presented at the ordinary Council Meeting will include:
- The city wide planning assumptions growth model
- Council’s acquisition of a new koala habitat at Greenbank,
- The possible closure of the Beenleigh Wastewater Treatment plant,
- The local infrastructure funding program.
All eyes will be on the discussion regarding the koala habitat purchase and the costs involved.
